Terms & Conditions

Turnaround

Our typical turnaround for screen printing is 10 business days, starting from the day after payment/deposit is made. Turnaround is not guaranteed. Rush turnarounds are subject to additional fees.

 

Turnaround for graphic design projects vary, based on project scope and customer feedback. Deadlines will be established between Punk Cat and the customer on a project-by-project basis.

 

Our business days are Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm. We are closed for most major U.S. holidays. Please see our website for up-to-date information on potential schedule disruptions.

 

Payment

We accept payment via Zelle and Venmo with no additional processing fees. Credit cards and ACH transfers are accepted and processed through Square; these methods incur a 3.3% fee. Cash is accepted in-shop only. Checks are not accepted.

 

Payment in full is required upfront for projects below $1000. Deposits are accepted for projects over $1000. A minimum 50% deposit is required upfront, with the remaining balance to be paid before final delivery.

 

Returns, Refunds, & Cancellations

Projects are considered in production upon payment/deposit. No cancellations or refunds will be processed once a project is in production.

 

We do not accept returns for custom orders. If you have an issue with your order, please contact us via email for resolution.

 

Shipping & Delivery

We offer free pick up at the shop during regular business hours. We also offer free local delivery in Hudson County, and delivery outside Hudson County for a scaled fee, starting at $20. We ship nationwide, using USPS and UPS. During production, we will communicate with you in regards to the method that works best and its pricing.

 

Print Size & Placement

Our maximum print areas are as follows:

  • 15x17 inches for garments

  • 18x24 inches for flatstock

 

Maximum print areas for tote bags, sleeve prints, and other specialty placements vary due to item variations. Please contact us for specifications prior to production.

 

A digital proof/mock up can be provided upon request prior to production. We do not offer physical proofs or samples.

 

We do not offer edge-to-edge printing, also known as cut-and-sew manufacturing.

 

We use industry-standard placement for all printed graphics unless otherwise requested by the customer. Minor inconsistencies in terms of placement are possible (<1 inch). Punk Cat cannot be held liable for such inconsistencies.

 

Inks & Colors

We print all garments with water-based inks unless otherwise requested by the customer or required for the garment.

 

Light-color graphics printed on dark-color garments may require an underbase for proper vibrancy. This requires an additional screen and is subject to additional screen prep fees.

 

We hand-mix our inks and do not use the Pantone Matching System. We do not guarantee color matching to Pantones, hex codes, or other digital swatches.

 

Please note: device monitors and screens vary greatly in color calibration. Appearance of image colors also varies based on graphic color profile (e.g. RGB, CMYK). Please consider this when reviewing proofs and mock ups.

 

On garments, we can screen print up to four colors, including CMYK printing. There is no maximum of colors for screen printing on paper.

 

Pricing & Quotes

Pricing is calculated based on the number of colors in the design and the type of garment or paper used. An initial quote(s) will be provided via email prior to production, followed by an itemized invoice via email once details are finalized. All projects are subject to sales tax, service charges, processing fees, and rush fees.

 

We will lock in your quote for two weeks prior to payment. Any orders placed with us after that two-week period are subject to price changes.

 

Customer-supplied Blanks

We require a minimum 10% overage per size to account for garment inconsistencies, with at least one extra garment per size. Such orders are subject to a BYO fee. We reserve the right to reject garments that are unsuitable for screen printing.

 

Screen Holds

Upon request, we will save your screen(s) for reprinting, with a $40 deposit per screen. If a reorder is placed within 6 months, we’ll credit the deposit towards that order. Screen(s) will be held for up to 6 months, after which we’ll reclaim the screen(s) and any deposit is forfeited.

Self-Promotion

We reserve the right to display on our website and social media work created or printed by us in our shop or on location. To opt out, email us a written request to withhold your project from our self-promotion practices.

Upon deposit/payment of invoice, customer agrees to the terms and conditions above.
